PVT (Plant Vehicle Team) Engineer

 

Prohuman Craiova is recruiting for our client Ford Otosan Craiova - PVT (Plant Vehicle Team) Engineer!

 

Roles& responsibilities:

  • Manage quality related issues for affected systems that are reported via the Early Warning Process, Early Concern Binning, etc. in an 8D approach together with the responsible suppliers and process owners;
  • Identify the root cause and develop & implement immediate ICAs (Interim Containment Action);
  • Support VFG (Vehicle Function Group) teams to develop and validate PCAs for quality improvement actions.
  • Support the VFG teams to release these design changes via the PVT's running change process;
  • Support the plant to reach the internal targets on EOL, FCPA, FTT and FRS for the affected systems. Work closely together with the process engineers to address manufacturing issues and to reduce labour cost by developing appropriate design changes;
  • Leads to the development of the BSAQ (Balanced Single Agenda for Quality) based quality scheme with a single quality discussion topic CPU (cost per unit) & RPT (Repairs per 1000 vehicles) to meet the objectives for the involved VRT function. Request any support to develop and deliver the extended VRT objectives;
  • Drive timely identification, containment, and resolution of external and in-plant quality concerns;
  • Support implementation of other product actions in Craiova plant, e.g. EDS (Electrical Distribution System) and PVT lead program actions, TVM (cost reduction) actions;
  • Sigle point of contact for current product alerts. Make sure that all required data is added from supplier or home base engineering to the alert prior approval request;
  • Keep ownership for WERS concerns of his affected engineering area. Monitor closely that implementation timing stays on track;
  • Incorporate the engineering homebase team's cross-carline experience into concern resolutions and feedback lessons learned from current product.

 

Requirements:

  • Technical engineering degree;
  • Good written and oral English language skills, min B2 level;
  • Knowledge of mechanical/automotive engineering processes – manufacturing experiences is an advantage;
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes;
  • Well-experienced in MS office tools Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint;
  • Good communication and organizational skills – leading cross-functional teams;
  • Production needs may involve a change in the work schedule for a short period of time.
