Responsibilities:
- Business Alignment & Operational Impact – align P&C activities with global and regional strategy, embed change programs, monitor KPIs, monitor data collection in P&C systems and identify efficiency improvements.
- Performance & Talent Management – oversee performance review processes, manage talent pipelines, and facilitate succession planning.
- Learning & Development – coach Store Managers and retail teams, ensure delivery of core learning programs and identify training solutions to build capability.
- Recruitment – support managers with effective hiring practices and planning recruitment activities.
- Engagement & Well-being – champion Primark culture, drive colleague engagement through surveys and action plans and embed global well-being initiatives.
- Employee Relations & Compliance – ensure adherence to policies and employment law, providing guidance on ER matters and liaise on complex cases.
Requirements:
- HR expertise – minimum 2+ years as an HR Business Partner/HR Manager, with strong knowledge of local employment legislation and compliance requirements.
- Sector experience – background in retail or similar fast-paced, customer-facing environments with large colleague headcount.
- Talent & change management – hands-on experience in talent development, performance management, and driving change initiatives.
- Communication skills – highly persuasive communicator with strong delivery and facilitation skills.
- Organizational & analytical ability – excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, and strong problem-solving with commercial acumen.
- Engagement & wellbeing – a passion for creating a positive, inclusive store culture and supporting colleague wellbeing.
- Language & adaptability – English language skills at a communicative level, with confidence working in an international, multicultural environment.
- Flexibility – willingness to travel and attend training in another city.
